Plasson Galvanised Backing Ring
The Plasson Galvanised Backing Ring is engineered to create a secure, leak proof connection in water mains and pressure pipe systems. Positioned behind the lip of a polyethylene stub flange, the steel ring provides a solid metal surface for bolts to pass through, pulling the joint tight against an adjoining valve, pump, or flanged pipe. The result is a reinforced, high pressure seal that holds firm where it counts most.

Built from mild steel with a galvanised coating, the backing ring resists rust and corrosion across a wide range of environments, -whether buried underground or exposed to the elements. This durability means fewer maintenance concerns and a longer service life, even in the most demanding pipeline installations.
