The pipes are not resistant to organic solvents, alcohol, petrol, acetic acid and vegetable oils. The pipes have a working pressure of -40°C to + 60°C, and 15 bar at 20°C. ABS pipe can be used with fittings compliant with BS 5392, assembled using solvent cement.
