Spirax Sarco ½” Brass BSP Vacuum Breaker VB14

Vacuum Breakers protect water by stopping back-siphonage flowing backwards into public drinking water systems. Caused by negative pressure in piping, back siphonage can vigorously contaminate public water supplies. Consisting of an air vent plus a check valve member, if pressure begins to drop its disc springs open the vent holes which allow outside air to enter and prevent any water from backflowing.

This ½” Vacuum Breaker by Spirax Sarco is constructed from Cu Zn 39 Pb3 Brass, with a pressure rating of 16 bars.
